Bringing heritage railway station into 21st century
Stogumber Station sits along the West Somerset Railway and is funded by donations and fund-raising from sales in their ticket office and cafe. They wanted a website and presence on social media to enable them to promote their events and raise awareness of their facilities to the local community and beyond.
Peacock Marketing set up a functional website with a content management system that could be managed by the station team, so that costly updates weren't necessary and could be made immediately. Having complete ownership of the site was important to the charity, which has restricted funds and needs to be able to publicise events and news quickly and efficiently.
